i love singapore

though at there i get to see and listen to beautiful fireworks every single day

companies might stalk us
so i will be extremely careful on what i blog :D

i was kind of detached from the internet world
and the mobile phone world
suddenly i cant contact anyone

we are very well fed
have Golfer's Terrance for us
Ala carte and buffet meals are provided
just that dont have enough clean water
and since afamosa resort melaka is located in a ulu forest place
there is a lot of insect companions like houseflies, bees and ants
heater spoilt so bath with cold water for 2 weeks straight

first two days (starting from 8 march)
was the worst
emotional straining
induction program
most of it was in MALAY
hard to understand because i never learn the language before
i only know satu dure tina ampat and uku tatawu
it was mentally frustrating
luckily got the main points
lots of product knowledge

third day was a better day
get to explore the 3 theme parks
:D its fun
nice shows
elephant show bird show multi-animal show wild wild west show
red indian show and carnival

after that
went to work for FRONT OFFICE and Guest service
reality check
use opera
get to register and check in guests
learn how to charge bills to guests' credit cards
pre-authorize credit cards
do morning call
handle complaints( P.S MOST PEOPLE THAT COMPLAINS ARE SINGAPOREANS .HEHE WE ARE SO FUSSY)
change news papers
not being shy to approach strangers
giving information of product to all guests
smile innocently
call housekeeping
check rooms

check in time is 4pm
check out time is 12pm

there is language barrier because i dont understand malay so have to ask guests to speak in english . i shall go pick up the language soon

there are 4 types of accommodations in afamosa resort
resort hotel
villas
d'savoy condotel
beverly hill condominium

a lot a lot of things to learn
a lot a lot of friends made

i would prefer to go melaka to play
rather than work
:( work also need do ot
